Romie Garcia has extensive experience working with children and adult populations across the lifespan. She obtained a Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from New York University and attended the Bilingual Extension Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University.  She has provided services in schools, clinics, and inpatient acute settings. She has a passion for working with reading/literacy and is an adjunct professor at Florida International University where she teaches the course “Foundations in Speech, Language, and Literacy”.
